Bill & Janet Huffor
Owners of Stubby’s Dog Wash and Grooming Salon.
While both of our backgrounds are in local law enforcement, we found our true love and passion in pets! We are the proud owners of both Furry Friends Inc (a local premium pet food and supply store) and Stubby’s. We have two children and 4 dogs we love to pieces. We are both Colorado Springs natives, both born at Memorial Hospital! We LOVE our community and participate on many local non-profit boards and organizations supporting the Pikes Peak Region. Our professional motto has always been, “Work hard at doing the right thing and treating people the right way”.

Zoe
My name is Zoe, and I have been working with dogs in multiple capacities for the past 11 years. In fact, I have been an animal enthusiast and advocate my entire life. I love coming in to work each day as it offers me the opportunity to meet new furry friends as well as reunite with past acquaintances! I believe my strength in grooming lies in my ability to connect with animals to create a calm, loving space for them. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding, and surfing (that is, whenever I get the chance to travel to the beach). I simply love our team at Stubby’s. We are all passionate about pampering your pet!

Isaac
My name is Isaac Ramirez, and I am a professional dog groomer with a deep passion for working with dogs. I began my grooming career in 2017 in El Paso, Texas, and eventually moved to Missouri to continue honing my craft. Recently, I relocated to Colorado, drawn by the vibrant dog and pet culture and the stunning beauty of the Rockies. I love what I do and am dedicated to providing the best care and grooming services for our furry friends.

Laken
🐶✨ Hey Stubby’s Fam! I’m Laken – Your New Favorite Dog Groomer! ✨🐶
I’m a certified pup pamperer with a big love for big dogs (shout-out to my two Great Danes!) and a soft spot for the seniors and anxious cuties. I’m Geriatric Dog Certified and a Certified Canine Esthetician—which is a fancy way of saying I know my stuff when it comes to skin, coats, and TLC.
Whether your dog needs a glow-up, a deshedding session, or just someone patient and gentle, I’ve got them covered. I’m so excited to be part of the Stubby’s crew and can’t wait to spoil your fur babies!
Let’s make some magic (and maybe a little mess) together! 🫧🐾✂️ -
Kalie
Hi there! I’m a professional dog groomer with 6 years of grooming experience and over 10 years of hands-on dog handling experience. Originally from the South, I’ve recently made Colorado my new home, and I’m excited to bring a little Southern charm to every groom. I’m experienced in all breed-standard cuts and helping each pet look and feel their very best. Whether it’s a show-worthy trim or a simple spruce-up, your pup’s comfort and happiness are always my top priority.

Dakotah
Hello! I’m Dakotah! I am from Scranton, Pennsylvania. I have been a professional dog groomer for three years. Animals have always been my passion and I started grooming by grooming my own dogs. After I started grooming them I knew right away I wanted to be a professional groomer. I truly love my profession and enjoy working with your pups! My partners in crime are Argus who is a Border Collie, and Pepper who is a Pit Bull Mix. When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and cooking!

Randi
Hi I’m Randi! I am from Southern California and have lived in Colorado Springs for the last six years. At Stubby’s, I support the groomers by bathing, drying, and prepping dogs for their haircuts. I also groom dogs that don’t require a haircut (Bath, De-shed, Nail Trim etc). I have two dogs; Aspen, a Great Dane, and Oakley, a Border Collie. When I am not working to beautify your dogs, I am busy working towards completing my Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice or riding my motorcycle in the beautiful mountains of Colorado!

Dillon
My name is Dillon! I was born in Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Monument, Colorado in 2020. I have always had a deep love for animals from a young age. I have two English Cream Golden Retrievers who are my best friends!
I have been working at Stubby’s since 2024. My main responsibilities are taking care of the dogs in our boarding facility, and bathing/prepping dogs for the groomers. I look forward to seeing you and your pups at Stubby’s!

Ella ~ Monument
My name is Ella! I was born and raised in Colorado Springs. My love for animals started at a very young age, as my family always had a dog or five in our home. I have three dogs, and have a real passion for Poodles! Oliver (also known as Handsome), a poodle mix from National Mill Dog Rescue. He is the reason why I do what I do! Yoda, a Miniature Schnauzer who I also adopted from The National Mill Dog Rescue, and Courage, a Standard Poodle whom I compete with in AKC dog shows. I really look forward to working with you and your pups!

Cara ~ Monument
Hello! My name is Cara and I was born right here in beautiful Colorado. I grew up as a military kid, which gave me the unique opportunity to live in a variety of places, including some time overseas in Germany. Those experiences helped shape my adaptability, strong work ethic, and appreciation for connecting with people, and animals, from all walks of life.
I have over three years of hands-on experience grooming dogs and truly enjoy working with breeds of all sizes, temperaments, and personalities. Whether it’s a quick refresh or a full grooming session, I take pride in making every dog feel comfortable, safe, and cared for.
In addition to my passion for dogs, I’ve always had a deep love for horses. I compete and spend much of my time riding and training when I’m not at the salon grooming! Working with animals isn’t just what I do, it’s what I love. ❤️
